Going back to school can be super boring, but why don’t you make it SuperNormal as the innovative, colourful and witty animation returns with new episodes?

It follows Superhero Junior High’s four best friends – Eric Normal and his superpower-bearing buddies, Changerella, Brass Butt and Buzz Girl. Eric has no super-skills whatsoever (he’s managed to pass the exam on a technicality!), but he’s still determined to fight the forces of evil using his pals’ superpowers.

Changerella can morph into any shape at any time! Brass Butt, with his super-strength and, er, brass butt, is the brawn of the team, while insect-like Buzz Girl’s four-armed dextrousness really comes in handy for dealing with multiple foes!

Superhero Junior High sits in the shadow of the hydroelectric power station by the used-car lot in the ordinary city of Crumptonville.

When the school bell rings, this unremarkable brick building becomes the daily grind for its students – who just so happen to be superheroes. Sure, these students wear spandex to gym class and study for mid-term exams on Death Traps and Doomsday Machines, but they still have all the problems of kids at normal schools. There are super-achievers, super-slackers, super-nerds, and super-jocks. There’s even a teacher’s pet, but he lives in the basement and eats cats.

They also must deal with a host of baddies, including Mr Bad, the school’s reluctant caretaker.
