My Spy Family

The Bannon family live in an ordinary looking house, in an ordinary looking street, in an ordinary looking part of a very ordinary town. So far, so ordinary. It will, therefore, come as no surprise to learn that the Bannons themselves are completely, desperately, utterly…EXTRAordinary. Because, until very recently, the Bannon family were involved in a far-from-ordinary family business – espionage!
Trained to foil supercriminals, overthrow dictators and leap from planes without parachutes, the Bannons are facing their toughest mission to date: retirement.
After a lifetime roaming the international trouble-spots of the world by jet, helicopter and missile-equipped sports car, the family now find themselves squashed together in a cramped semi-detached house in BATLEY. They try to engage with normal everyday life - but none of their training or gadgetry can prepare them for the mysteries of suburbia. It’s hard to fit in when you think the local Boy Scout troupe is plotting to make Batley a totalitarian state; when you can’t ask any friends round because Dad’s grouted the bathroom with plastic explosive; and how can you phone up for a pizza with extra salami when your Mum’s put a tap on the line and believes all Italians are Mafiosi?
If James Bond married Catwoman, had three kids and bought a semi…this is what life would be like.
