Rugby Union: Ireland v New Zealand

BBC

BBC Two

The All Blacks represent the toughest challenge in rugby right now. The World Cup winners won all six matches at this summer’s Rugby Championship, maintaining their 100 per cent record in the tournament, which succeeded the Tri-Nations competition.

With star names such as Dan Carter, Richie McCaw and Ma’a Nonu, they will be determined to extend their unbeaten record against the Irish. The home side, meanwhile, will be looking to exact revenge for a 3-0 series defeat when they toured New Zealand last year. This could be the final chance for legendary Irish captain Brian O’Driscoll, who will retire next summer, to claim an elusive victory against the mighty All Blacks.
