Formula 1 – The British Grand Prix
BBC One · Formula 1 · 06 Jul 2010 · by: BBC
Jake Humphrey presents live coverage of the British Grand Prix from Silverstone, one of the highlights of the Formula 1 calendar and a real treat for British fans. McLaren team-mates and back-to-back World Champions Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton are on fantastic form this season and both are strong contenders for the Championship as the 2010 season reaches the halfway point.
The British Grand Prix has been won by greats such as Jim Clark, Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell and Jackie Stewart, while Hamilton celebrated victory in 2008. Another success for him this afternoon would be a big boost for his title challenge, although his McLaren team-mate Button is likely to give the home crowd plenty to cheer about.
Commentary comes from Jonathan Legard and Martin Brundle with Eddie Jordan and two-time British Grand Prix-winner David Coulthard.
