ITV commissions new drama The Trials of Jimmy Rose


ITV has commissioned a new series titled The Trials of Jimmy Rose. The new three-part drama is written and created by Alan Whiting, directed by Adrian Shergold and produced by Jane Dauncey. 

The new series focuses on Jimmy Rose, a former gangster and ex-con. At age 64 Jimmy has spent most of his time in prison and away from his family. Can he put his criminal life behind and regain the love and trust of the love of his life Jackie, their two adult children, Jason and Julie and grandchildren Elliot, Ellie and India.

The series will go begin filming mid October in the Manchester area.

Casting for the show has yet to be announced.
