Virgin Media customers get exclusive advance screening of Nick Jr favourite.

This November, Virgin Media TV customers will get a unique chance to watch hit kids’ show Go Diego Go! with an exclusive feature-length episode available to watch two weeks ahead of broadcast. Customers will be able to watch the Dora the Explorer spin-off episode for a week from the 1st November, a fortnight before the episode airs on Nick Jr on 15th November.

Go Diego Go! is an animated series for pre-school children, created by Nickelodeon as a spin-off of popular show Dora the Explorer. Diego is Dora’s older cousin, and Dora regularly makes appearances in Go Diego Go! as Diego goes about his adventures rescuing animals in danger across the world.

In the exclusive feature length episode, ‘The Great Polar Bear Rescue!’, Dora’s cousin and star of the show Diego is visiting the Artic Wildlife Rescue Center with Baby Jaguar when disaster strikes. Some baby polar bears find themselves stranded on an island and Diego and his friends get caught up in an exciting adventure to rescue them.

Virgin Media is the only place where customers will be able to watch Go Diego Go! ahead of broadcast, and represents the first exclusive of its kind for Virgin Media’s pioneering TV On Demand service. Go Diego Go!  will be accessible in the popular Kids section within TV Choice on demand, which is free to Virgin Media XL TV customers*.

Malcolm Wall, CEO of Content at Virgin Media said: "We're delighted to offer our 3.5 million TV customers the very first look of this Go Diego Go! programme, before it is broadcast on linear TV. On demand kids’ programming has taken off this year with an uplift of 300,000 views in August alone, reaching 2.5 million views in the month. The way people watch TV is changing and our Go Diego Go! exclusive is a great example of how we are continuing to give viewers something  they can't get elsewhere."

Virgin Media TV On Demand is the UK’s most diverse and comprehensive on demand service, boasting over 4,600 hours of TV, film and music, with 500 films at any given time.
