RISING COMIC JACK WHITEHALL TO HOST LAUNCH OF BIG BROTHER’S BIG MOUTH

Channel 4 · Big Brother · 10 Jun 2008 · by: Channel 4

19-year-old Jack Whitehall – one of the hottest new talents on the UK comedy circuit – is the first guest presenter of E4’s adrenaline-fuelled opinion show Big Brother’s Big Mouth.

And the big-mouth himself, Radio 1’s Chris Moyles, will take over for the following week of the run.

Jack, a much talked about rising star of comedy, will take the reigns for the launch show (Thursday 5th June, 23:40 on E4) as well as Friday night’s programme on E4 at 22:00. Jack worked as a child actor in various television dramas, but after leaving school he decided to pursue stand-up. Since debuting at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, Jack has gone on to win a host of new act competitions and is being hailed a star in the making.

Then from Tuesday 10th June to Friday 13th June Chris Moyles will take over as the next Big Mouth guest presenter.

Broadcast live Tuesdays to Fridays in the shadow of the Big Brother house straight after the nightly Channel 4 show, E4’s Big Brother’s Big Mouth is an adrenaline-fuelled and instantly reactive discussion show for the most passionate Big Brother fans to voice their opinions. In front of a live and up-for-it studio audience, a handpicked line-up of special guest presenters (more to be announced soon) will take charge of proceedings. All the latest events from the house will be discussed, dissected and digested by the audience of obsessive BB fans, plus special guest experts, journalists and celebrities. The Thursday launch show will feature League of Gentleman star Steve Pemberton. Viewers at home can get involved by ringing in live to the studio, or emailing or texting their opinions.
