Sky Arts 1 HD presents Blur’s acclaimed Hyde Park show that brought the 2012 Olympic Games to an electrifying end. Part of the Mayor of London’s 2012 closing celebrations, the Brit Pop icons performed tracks including their UK number one singles Beetlebum and Country House, and hit single Coffee & TV, to a sell-out crowd at the central London venue.

Embracing the spirit of the games, frontman Damon Albarn wrapped himself in a Union flag before striking the ‘Mobot’ pose and dedicating the band’s 1997 hit Song 2 to Team GB gold medallist Mo Farah. As well as performing Under The Westway, written in February 2012 especially for the gig, they also delivered crowd-pleasing renditions of Parklife and Girls & Boys, as well as dedicating a moving version of Out of Time to athletes who were unable to compete because of their country’s political situation.
