This week MTV dedicates all of its music channels to a dazzling celebration of the biggest names in music from any and every genre; rock to pop, slow jams to party anthems.

From Saturday November 15th Superstars Week will showcase the best of the ‘A’ list

From Abba to Avril, Beyonce to Bowie and Kaisers to The Killers, expect a glittering array of live music, artist countdowns and festival performances. Each channel – MTV’s Hits, Base, Two and Dance, as well as VH1 and VH1 Classic - has selected the biggest names from their worlds and put together a host of diverse shows in tribute to them.

On Sunday 16th November at 6PM on MTV TWO Kings of Leon stumble into the Gonzo studio as host Zane Lowe comments “stinking of booze”. They give the lowdown on what it feels like to be in the ‘hottest band in the world right now’. They talk about bad YouTube renditions of their own songs, having their record leaked by a guy called Pedro in Mexico, opening their Glastonbury set with a brand new song, meeting strippers at Madame Jojos, and being told to act sexy in their videos… it’s a frank, funny and revealing interview with Caleb and Nathan - the dudes that guys wanna be and girls wanna be with!

Over on MTV Base at 10:30PM we go behind the scenes of Akon’s latest video for ‘Right Now’ to see the hip hop superstar at work.
