Katy Perry, P!nk, Duffy, The Killers and Beyonce are among the star studded line-up poised to land in Liverpool on Thursday 6th November to perform at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards.

This year Katy Perry, reeling from her worldwide smash, ‘I Kissed A Girl’, will be taking centre stage as hostess with the most-ess of Europe’s most exciting and unpredictable awards show. The cherry chapsticked beauty will guide audiences through an evening of glittering, show stopping performances from this year’s hottest acts.

With performances from The Killers and Kid Rock filling Liverpool’s Echo Arena with testerone fuelled rock, Duffy, Beyonce and P!nk will be strutting their stuff for the girls. Leona Lewis will also be waiting anxiously in the wings to find out if she’s leaving with any of her three prized nominations for Europe’s Favourite Act, Album Of The Year and Act Of 2008.

Guest presenters on the night so far include the Sugababes, Solange Knowles and the formidable Grace Jones, with more to be announced.
