Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello started life as pet turtles but mutated after coming into contact with a mysterious green slime. Raised in the sewers of New York City by their wise sensei, Master Splinter, they learned martial arts and mastered the skills of stealth and combat to become an awesome team of mean, green, fighting machines!

The quartet share many traits: they’re clever, self-reliant, courageous, honourable, (mostly) serious about their ‘ninjutsu’ training, and pretty darned funny! They have developed their own wacky, witty way of communicating, from one-liners and wisecracks to movie quotes.

They enjoy their verbal sparring, and turtle banter is always flying in these fast-paced episodes, but all four turtles have their own distinct personalities.

Leonardo is everything you’d want in a hero – and then some. He’s dedicated, disciplined and selfless, and the unspoken leader of the group. Hothead Raphael, meanwhile, is more impulsive, restless and, at times, opinionated than the others, but he’s the most fearsome and fearless fighter of the group and goes by the nickname Secret Weapon.

Michelangelo is the funny one – a born clown who loves a practical joke. His sense of humour is often just what the turtles need to keep them calm in stressful situations. And, last but not least, Donatello is the brains of the bunch. He knows how things work, from computers and robotics to rocket propulsion systems and the light in the fridge. If there’s a techie crisis, Donnie’s your man.

This green team has a whole lot of skill and knowledge between them, and they must call on every single bit of it in Turtles versus The Shredder, as they once again take on their arch enemy The Shredder and the might of his evil army of Foot Ninjas.
