When a spiritual guru turns up dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot while in a secure meditation room, it appears to be an open-and-shut case. But when the evidence points to murder, not suicide, it's up to brilliant criminology professor Jonathan Maxwell (Dick Van Dyke) and Detective Mike Bryant (Barry Van Dyke) to figure out which of the students decided to send the guru to a higher spiritual plane…permanently.
